The six Coloradans who qualified last month in Vail for the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur face a change of schedule.

Contestants in the Women's Mid-Am were notified Tuesday by the USGA that the championship is being postponed due to the effects of Hurricane Irma.

The tournament was scheduled for Oct. 7-12 at Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., but officials determined that the course won't be ready for the Women's Mid-Am on the dates planned.

New dates for the event haven't yet been determined.

Janet Moore, Centennial
Tiffany Maurycy, Denver
Jamie Zook, Colorado Springs
Jillian Braverman, Newport Beach, Calif.
Hayley Hammond, Mooresville, N.C.
Brittany Roberts, Denver
Molly Dorans, Firestone
Susan Roh, Denver

The alternates, in order, were:

Christie Austin, Denver
Monica Meihack, Sandia Park, N.M.
