Lance Johnson

CGA Board Member

Lance is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent. He has worked for the City of Westminster for the past 21 years and is currently the Recreation Facilities Superintendent, overseeing two golf courses, 3 recreation facilities and a regional park. He grew up in Fairfield, Iowa. Lance attended Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Prior to working in golf course maintenance, Lance umpired professional baseball in the minor leagues for three years. He and his wife of 29 years Lynn, have two sons, Greg and Kyle and a daughter Brett. Lance is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association (RMGCSA) and the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA). Lance is past a President of the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association and also served as President of the RMGCSA non-profit organization, The Golf Foundation of Colorado, Inc. from 2010-2103. Lance and his family live in Lakewood, Colorado.
