Judy grew up in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. After spending three years in Casper, Wyoming, she moved to Colorado in 1980. Judy graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in Speech & Theater, English, and Secondary Education. She completed her MA in Speech & Theater at Northeastern Illinois University. Judy spent most of her years as an educator at Chatfield High School, where she was the theater director for 15 years and finished up her career as Chair of the English Department. After a teaching for 37 years in three different states, Judy retired in 2007.
Judy is an avid golfer and plays in the Broken Tee Saturday Ladies Club, the Foothills Ladies Golf Club, and the Ladies Tournament Golf Association (LTGA). As a ladies club member, she has worn many hats over the years. She served as treasurer and president at The Links at Highlands Ranch, B-Team captain at Broken Tee, as well as tee time and tournament chair at Foothills. She also competes in many CWGA events along with volunteering on the CWGA Tournament Committee
In addition to her passion for golf, Judy loves to ski, practice yoga, play her fiddle, attend the theater, and read. To Judy, golf offers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, the challenge of competition, and the pleasures of meeting people and creating relationships.
