Dana Murray was born and raised in Denver, CO. She is a proud third generation Coloradan. She earned her undergraduate degree from The Colorado College, where she majored in American History and Political Science. She earned her law degree from the University of Denver, College of Law. After Law School, Dana served as a Deputy District Attorney and then as a County Court Judge for the Colorado Judicial Department for 28 years.
It wasn’t until later in her life that Dana came to the game of golf. She became a member of the EWGA as a beginning golfer, and remains a member today. Among the most important reasons that golf appeals to Dana are: The integrity of the game, the life lessons which are illustrated while playing, and the beauty of every golf course.
Now retired from the Bench, Dana chooses to offer her time to the game of golf on the Local and National level. In addition to serving on the CGA Board of Governors and acting as an On Course Official for Colorado Tournaments, Dana is also on the National Tournament Committee for the EWGA.
