Bill was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Colorado State University and was a 4-year golf letter winner. Bill earned a degree in accounting from CSU and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1986. After college Bill spent 12 years in public accounting. From 1997 to April 2012 Bill was Chief Financial Officer of RBC Daniels, a media and telecommunications investment bank. In April 2012 Bill moved to the non-profit sector where he is currently Senior Vice President of the Grants Program at the Daniels Fund in Denver, Colorado. Bill has been a CGA volunteer since 1986. He has played in CGA events for over 30 years and won the CGA Mid-Amateur Championship in 1989 and was runner-up in 2003. Bill won the CGA Western Chapter Championship in 2005, and has been on two winning teams in the CGA Club Team Championship. He and his wife Kate and children Will (1993) and Kit (1996) reside in Lakewood. Bill is a member of both Rolling Hills Country Club and Bear Creek Golf Club.
