Jeanne was born and raised on a farm with five siblings near Lamar, Colorado where she didn't get to play much golf. She moved to Denver after graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in accounting. She also obtained an MBA degree from the University of Denver. After working for one of the large accounting firms (long before Enron) and in private industry as a controller for two different companies, she formed her own accounting firm over 20 years ago. As soon as tax season is over, you can often find Jeanne on the golf course or at Rockies baseball games.
Jeanne started playing golf "seriously" almost 15 years ago and continues to be hopeful that she can improve her game. She enjoys the camaraderie that golf and golf organizations provide. In addition to being treasurer for the CWGA, she is the treasurer of the CommonGround Women's Golf Club and the vice president and tournament chair of the Overland Park Women's Golf Club. She is a current member of both the Ladies Tournament Golf Association and the Colorado State Senior Women's Golf Association for which she served on the board as tournament chair.
