Robert Polk

CGA Board Member

Robert was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Louisiana. While attending the University of Mississippi, Robert earned a golf scholarship, played on the Rebel's golf team, and, most importantly, met his wife, Kim. Robert moved to Colorado in 1980 where he took a hiatus from the tee and helped raise three now-adult sons. After turning 50 in 2005, Robert began to play competitive golf once again and his numerous accolades include qualifying for and playing in the 2007 U.S. Senior Open at Whistling Straits; being named the 2007 and 2008 Colorado Player of the Year; playing on the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Colorado Cup Team; representing Colorado in the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Southwest Team Challenge Tournament; winning numerous Club Championships and tournaments, including the Colorado Golf Club�s first Club Championship; as well as being the first person to win both the Colorado Mid-Am Tournament and Senior Stroke Play Tournament in the same year (2007). Robert and his wife currently reside in Parker. Robert is CEO and co-owner of Polk Majestic Travel Group�the largest independent travel management company in Colorado and home to over 130 travel professionals.
