Dana is a Colorado Native, the oldest of two girls. She first started playing golf around the age of 11 but put her clubs away a couple years later to focus on other pursuits. A couple of decades later when co-workers asked if she played the game and wanted to join the work league, she pulled her clubs out of storage (once she found them in Arizona at her parents) and has been working on her game ever since. Both of her parents are avid golfers and still playing on a regular basis in their retirement years. Dana holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Denver and a bachelor's of science in applied math from Colorado State University. She currently works at Community First Foundation as the Director of Online Giving, responsible for ColoradoGives.org and Colorado Gives Day, the Foundation's online giving program. She works with nonprofits around the state as they work to increase their individual giving. Dana has also served as a past president of the Junior League of Denver and the Junior League of Denver Foundation. When not helping working or golfing, she is busy with her crazy bichon mix dog, knitting or running and biking.
