Kent Moore has played competitive golf in Colorado since the early 1970's. Moore holds several state championship titles including the 1973 Colorado Golf Association (CGA) junior match play, the 1986 CGA Stroke Play, the 1989 CG Match Play, the 1995 CGA Mid-Amateur, 2006 Senior CGA Match Play as well as three state mixed titles with his wife Janet. Moore has been medalist in the CGA match play three times. He has played in 9 USGA events and been medalist in local qualifying three times. Moore has been in active in the Colorado business community. He is a former vice-president of Exeter Drilling Northern, and former co-founder and president of Caza Drilling. Moore also spent several years in the mutual fund business as analyst and portfolio manager for Janus Capital and senior analyst/portfolio manager for Marsico Capital. He is a board member of The Providence Network and an elder in his church. Kent is a member at Cherry Hills Country Club and is the former Tournament Chairman of the Colorado Open Championships.
