Brad is a native of Boulder where he attended neighborhood schools and graduated from Fairview High School. He learned to golf in a City of Boulder junior “learn to golf” summer program in the early 1970s. Brad had a 35-year career in law enforcement, primarily with the City of Lafayette (22 years) and University of Colorado-Boulder (10+ years) police departments. Since 1991, he has had a consulting practice working with public safety organizations across the United States on large data management and analysis projects. Brad holds BS in Business Management and Master of Criminal Justice degrees. Brad served three consecutive two-year terms on the Lafayette City Council and was a member of the Boulder County Crime Victim Compensation Board for six years, serving as chair of the board for the final four years. Brad is also active in local Rotary and Optimist service clubs. Brad began volunteering for the CGA in 2011 as a rules official and was appointed to the CGA Rules Committee in the Fall of 2013. Brad officiates tournaments for the CGA and JGAC as well as a variety of NCAA, Colorado Open and PGA-Colorado Section events. Brad enjoys many courses across Colorado and beyond, his home course is Indian Peaks in Lafayette.
