Former CU golfer Jeremy Paul in 8th place going into last round of Korn Ferry Tour Q-school final stage

Former University of Colorado golfer Jeremy Paul remained in the top 10 and former Air Force Academy player Kyle Westmoreland moved into the top 40 through Sunday’s third round of the final stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-school in Savannah, Ga.
The medalist in the 72-hole event, which now will conclude on Monday after rain washed out Saturday’s action, will be fully exempt for the 2022 Korn Ferry season. Finishers 2-10 and ties are exempt for the first dozen events, while finishers 11-40 and ties for the first eight tournaments. The remaining players out of the field of 149 at the final stage will receive conditional status for 2022, meaning starts will be more sporadic.
Paul — twin brother of Yannik Paul, who earned his European Tour card on Sunday — holds eighth place after firing a 1-under-par 69 on Sunday. He rebounded in a big way in round 3, where he was 4 over par through eight holes but played his final 10 holes in 6 under.
Paul sits at 6-under-par 205, six strokes behind leader Zach Fischer.
Westmoreland is tied for 40th place at 212 after carding a third-round 67 that included five birdies and one bogey.
Jake Staiano of Englewood dropped to 86th place at 215 following a 71 on Saturday. He made four birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey.
Kyler Dunkle, the 2018 CGA Amateur champion, fell to 127th place after a 77 on Sunday left him at 221. He carded two birdies and eight bogeys in round 3.
