January to remember for Paul twins continues as Yannik posts his 2nd top-10 finish of the month on DP World Tour

Sunday yielded another chapter in the Paul twins’ January to remember on two of the world’s top golf tours.
Yannik Paul, who along with brother Jeremy were standouts on the University of Colorado golf team, on Sunday tied for fourth at the DP World Tour’s Ras Al Khaimah Championship in the United Arab Emirates. That gives him two top-10 finishes in his first three DPWT events of 2024.
Meanwhile, 11 days ago, Jeremy Paul claimed his first career victory on the Korn Ferry Tour, prevailing at the season-opening Bahamas Great Exuma Classic.
Two weeks after his eighth-place showing in the Dubai Invitational, Yannik Paul went 67-68-68-68 for a 17-under-par total in the UAE, earning 84,208 euros in the process. The German finished 10 strokes behind winner Thorbjorn Olesen, who prevailed by six strokes.
Paul, who came into the week ranked No. 105 in the world, played his first three holes in 2 over par on Sunday. But he rebounded in a big way, going 6 under in his final 15 holes, highlighted by a 32-foot eagle putt at the par-5 14th hole.
Paul now has six top-four finishes in his DP World Tour career, most notably including a victory at the 2022 Mallorca Golf Open.

Meanwhile, Robyn Choi, whose career as a CU women’s golfer overlapped with Yannik Paul’s time on the Buff men’s team, didn’t fare nearly as well on Sunday after being in contention. Choi came into the final round of the LPGA Drive On Championship in fifth place, but struggled to a 77 on Sunday in Bradenton, Fla., and ended up in 16th place in her first LPGA Tour event since 2020. Choi was paired in the final round with Lydia Ko, who lost in a playoff with Nelly Korda.
