A Colorado Addition

Todd Creek GC will host an Annika Women’s All Pro Tour event starting next year

By Gary Baines – 7/31/2024

One of the top women’s professional mini tours has added a Colorado stop to its 2025 schedule.

The Annika Women’s All Pro Tour Colorado Championship will be held July 20-25 of next year at Todd Creek Golf Club in Thornton. Proceeds from the 2025 tournament will support Meador’s Masters Foundation, a Colorado-based organization that supports initiatives related to childhood suicide prevention, humanitarian response and education scholarships. The tournament organizer/host will be Brand Asset Partners.

In 2024, the Annika WAPT is featuring 11 72-hole tournaments, running from April to August. Purses range from $41,500 to $100,000.

The Women’s All-Pro Tour started in 2019, and World Golf Hall of Famer  Annika Sorenstam lent her name to the tour as part of a five-year strategic alliance that began this year.

The idea behind the tour is to provide playing opportunities for female professionals and an additional path for them to reach the Epson Tour and eventually possibly the LPGA Tour. The top five season-long performers on the Annika WAPT earn spots into stage II of LPGA Tour qualifying.
