Colorado native and Jefferson Academy graduate Jennifer Kupcho scored her third top-5 finish in her last seven LPGA Tour starts by placing fifth on Sunday at the CPKC Women’s Open in Calgary, Alberta.
The impending Colorado Golf Hall of Famer posted rounds of 69-72-68-71 for an 8-under-par total, which left the 27-year-old five strokes behind winner Lauren Coughlin. Both Kupcho (2020) and Coughlin (2016) are past winners of the Inspirato Colorado Women’s Open.
The performance was worth $110,147 for Kupcho, who has three LPGA Tour victories to her credit.
The showing marked Kupcho’s fourth top-10 of the year on the LPGA circuit as she placed second (with Ally Ewing) in the Dow Championship in June, third at the Mizuho Americas Open in May and eighth in the Ford Championship in March.
