Davis Bryant, Dan Erickson post sixth-place finishes in Asia — Bryant on the HotelPlanner Tour and Erickson on the DP World Tour; Coloradan David Duval records third top-10 of his PGA Tour Champions career
By Gary Baines – 3/23/2025
Two players with significant ties to Colorado went to the other side of the world to post their first top-10 finishes on golf circuits affiliated with the DP World Tour on Sunday.
Davis Bryant of Aurora, winner of the 2024 Inspirato Colorado Open, tied for sixth place in the Delhi (India) Challenge, a tournament on the HotelPlanner Tour, the European circuit’s version of the Korn Ferry Tour.
And Dan Erickson, whose family until recently lived in northern Colorado and was a member at TPC Colorado, shared sixth place at the DP World Tour’s Porsche Singapore Classic after leading going into the final round of the weather-shortened event.
Both Bryant and Erickson earned DP World Tour cards in November and are rookies on that circuit, though both have competed in DP World Tour and HotelPlanner Tour tournaments this season.
Bryant, a former Colorado State University golfer who was the 2019 CGA Les Fowler Player of the Year, carded scores of 66-68-69-70 for a 15-under-par score in Delhi, which left him three strokes behind playoff winner Quim Vidal of Spain.
The showing was worth 8,086 euros ($8,795) for Bryant, who made 22 birdies and seven bogeys for the tournament. He was the only American to place in the top 40 in Delhi.
It was Bryant’s first made cut on the HotelPlanner Tour this season, while he has two top-45 finishes on the DP World Tour.

In Singapore on the DP World Tour, Erickson took a one-stroke lead into the final round but was passed on the front nine despite posting a 2-under-par 33 on that side. He went 69-64-71 for a 12-under-par total as Richard Mansell prevailed for the title at 16 under after closing with a 66.
Erickson earned 69,229 euros ($75,302) for his performance. For the week, he made 16 birdies and four bogeys. This weekend marked the second straight made cut for Erickson on the DP World Tour as he placed 41st in Kenya last month. He’s also made one cut in three events on the HotelPlanner Tour.
The top-10 finish puts Erickson into the field for the DP World Tour’s Hero Indian Open, which starts on Thursday.
