Paige Crawford of Colorado Springs and former University of Colorado golfer Brittany Fan both passed the first test at LPGA and Epson Tour Q-school on Thursday, advancing from stage I to stage II in the qualifying process.
Crawford, who swept the female John Shippen tournament titles in 2023 and played in her first three LPGA Tour events this year, finished 43rdout of 305 players in stage I, which concluded Thursday in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Then the Q-Series, where the top 45 finishers and ties will earn some LPGA Tour status for 2024, is scheduled for Nov. 30-Dec. 5 in Mobile, Ala. With their showings this week, the two at least will have some Epson Tour status next year.
