Step 1 to Fixing your Slice – Control the Curve

Welcome to GOLFTEC’s latest video on SKYTRAK’s innovative training ground, designed to help you take control of your slice! In this video, we introduce the Left to Right Command Range, a powerful tool to help right-handed golfers fix their slice by mastering the curve.

What You’ll Learn: The Left to Right Command Range is designed to start your shot left of your intended target and bring it back to the middle without crossing the center line. The goal is to take a bad left-to-right slice and transform it into a controlled fade:
– 7 out of 10 shots: Skilled players should start their shots left and not cross the center line.
– 9 out of 10 shots: Tour players aim to achieve this level of precision.

Pro Golf Tip:

1. Setup: Align your feet and clubface left of the center line or the tree on this particular improvement range.

2. Focus: Monitor the Face to Target number on your SKYTRAK. Aim to get this number to the left of your target line to reduce the slice and keep the ball more to the left.

Why It Works: For most right-handed golfers who slice, the club path moves left of the target line. By focusing on the Face to Target number and ensuring it stays left, you can significantly reduce the slice.

Next Steps: Once you master 7 out of 10 shots starting left and not crossing back over the center line into the water, progress to the Right to Left Command Range, also known as “The Wall” Improvement Range, to start hitting that perfect push draw.
