Annie Fox (gross score) and Debbie Strine (net) earn overall honors at CGA Women’s Hickory

Annie Fox of Indian Peaks Golf Course captured overall low-gross honors and Debbie Strine, competing at her home course, took the low-net award on Monday as Heritage Eagle Bench Golf Club in Aurora hosted the fourth annual CGA Women’s Hickory Tournament.
Both overall winners prevailed in scorecard playoffs, with Fox having tied Dorothy Walker of Fox Hollow Golf Course, and Strine doing the same with Debbie Dix of Saddle Rock Golf Course and Christy Bodaness of Heritage Eagle Bend.
Fox shot an 18-over-par 90 while competing in the second flight, making six pars on Monday. On the net side, Strine carded a 1-over-par 73 in the fifth flight, recording seven net birdies in the process.
The individual stroke-play tourney for players with handicaps between 18 and 36 drew a field of 75, competing in five flights.
